Associate of Arts – Intercultural Studies
The Associate of Arts degree with a major in Intercultural Studies is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge of the Bible and its interpretation as preparation for further training for vocational ministry.
Associate of Arts – Intercultural Studies Outcomes
Students completing the Associate of Arts – Intercultural Studies major will be able to do the following:
- Demonstrate an increased understanding of the Christian worldview in relation to the natural and social world
- Demonstrate an increased understanding of the theological foundations of cultural engagement
- Demonstrate increased competence in practical skills of cultural studies such as information management, strategic decision-making, and communication in international and domestic settings
- Demonstrate an enhanced foundation for subsequent formal and informal education
- Develop a basis of knowledge and experience for subsequent service in cross-cultural settings
